Any person, whether or not a party or directly involved in the document, may request from the notary one or more certified copies of a public notarized deed, on payment of the relevant fees. Copies are subject to stamp duty except in cases of exemption stipulated by law, which must be specified in the request. It is not necessary to provide justification or motivation for requesting a copy of a public notarized deed. In fact, in legal terms, the issuing of copies by the notary is not detrimental to privacy and therefore restrictions on the processing of personal data are not applicable.
